Driver Plows Through Crowd in New Orleans

I've walked down that same street with co-workers when I went there for work training over 20 years ago (damn time flies). Cops were ever-present there as it's a tourist area.

At night time women throwing me beads from the balcony and cat calling though it wasn't Mardi Gras season. Few people on the street sober. Fun memories really.

These random killings are devastating as it could be anyone at anytime. Unlike a bolt of lightning though, there is a human being behind the wheel who destroys lives of people who they had no beef with. It's beyond disgusting.

There's a lot of videos being put out now (0300 on Bourbon Street) so you know there would be a lot what with folk's phones and all.

I suspect that the .gov is busy working to scrub any videos.

I doubt any not already obtained/saved by the press will be taken down shortly.

What can be reasonably gleaned from what is known at this time is that, though the truck has Texas plates, the actor is not Joe Bubba Redneck White Boy Jr. Otherwise his face and name would be everywhere. That isn’t an Army of Northern Virginia battle flag on the truck. If it were, we would be breathlessly told about it faster than you can say Dylan Root.

They may not be in "good shape." They are reported to be in stable condition. I was shot 6 times in an armed robbery and had a chest tube to drain fluid from my lungs for a week and had 11 bullet holes in my body and I was listed in "stable" condition as well.
