Again, the problem isn't with the H-1B program it's with the enforcement of the rules that already exist, we need the H-1B program to fill positions the domestic labor pool cannot fill. As someone that has worked in the tech sector for over 35 years and has had to fill highly skilled positions via H-1B's because I could not find a qualified person from the domestic labor pool, I speak from personal experience on this.

One exception does not prove the rule.

It's abused. You know what happens to things that get abused? It gets taken away.

LEGITIMATE H1B visas are good for the U.S.

When I say, "legitimate," I mean that the employers have truly scouted the area and THERE ARE NO QUALIFIED Americans or permanent residents who can do the job, and there are foreigners who want to come here, and have the required knowledge and skills.

Bringing in actual talent, rather than third world wretches with no money, no useful education, and no skills, is good for the U.S.

But lots of MAGA's are simply anti-immigration. That's not likely to change soon.

Bring the talented foreigner in but make sure his untalented family stay the heck where they belong.

I agree with Elon Musk on the issue, and I can't stand Laura Loomer, but Loomer is dead right about Musk being a hypocrite.



For those not following the drama on Twitter, Musk stripped Loomer of her status as both Musk and Vivek came out in support of hiring foreign nationals via the H-1B process. Loomer and other pro-MAGA accounts blasted them both for doing so.

The thing about MAGA embracing the techno broligarchs is that deep down, the broligarchs are pro- immigration. And MAGA is not.

Magaturds are conditioned to believe Elmo is the savior of 'frees peach' because they're fucking stupid and easily conned populists.

Musk is a businessman, and so is Trump.

The problem with this is, Musk is mostly right. Americans have become dumbshits, and a lot of it has to do with prioritizing social indoctrination over STEM and the three R's.

In my previous job I worked with a lot of H1b types, mostly from India. Those kids are smart, they get a great education and you can talk to them about almost anything. They know all about differential geometry, fractals, and machine learning.

Whereas Americans know how not to offend gays and trannies. Our educational system needs serious improvement.
