Elon Musk went to Japan in 2024 and reported back that the EV is doomed by the Internal Combustion engine.

My largest complaint about EVs has been it takes far too long to recharge them. When you can refuel internal combustion engine cars in minutes, EVs consume hours to recharge. And the supply of rare earth minerals produces alleged harmful Carbon Dioxide to produce the cars and Batteries. Another problem is that liquid fuels weigh a few pounds but the EVs must carry around batteries weighing a ton to over two tons.
This video goes into details.

one if not the biggest benefit of EV is the instant power and off the charts torque,,
thats why they are used in the railroad and heavy excavation equipment,,

this guys doing the diesel electric with heavy duty trucking

as for the long charging times unless you drive more than a few hundred miles a day they can charge overnight without problem,,

Yes of course. But I pointed out the actual problems in a bit of detail. Musk has told us the EV is losing. I gave reasons why that is true.

What happened to the Electric motors? They never showed any on the Trucks!!

Notice that the Diesel Truck takes moments to refuel not all night long.

thats one of many of his videos,,

the motors are on the difs so no driveshaft, transmissions,,

this is a short one that explains what else hes doing

who cares how long if youre sleeping the whole time??

and if youre smart enough to have solar panels and a battery pack its almost free,,

Thanks but my points stand so far. Such as lugging around very heavy batteries which diminishes payloads. Such as taking a hell of a long time to recharge.
I love EVS, powered by Hydrogen of course.

this one goes into more detail on the classic truck kits,,
same basic principle for the big trucks

Great points. Weight for trucks is important. Batteries are very heavy. And notice Diesel trucks also can refuel fast at company tanks on site.

Edison motors truck : r/trucksim

The number of trucks sold by Edison Motors is not available, but Edison Motors is a trucking company founded in 2016 by Chace Barber and Eric Little.

Explanation
  • Edison Motors is a privately-held company, so it doesn't have a public market for shares.

  • The company started with a 1969 Kenworth 5 axle Logging Truck, which they named "Old Blue".

  • Edison Motors uses a variety of engine options, including Scania, CAT, Cummins, and Perkins.
Barber and Little started the company after graduating from university.

No, but explain your claim it was faked by Toyota Motors?

AFAIK, Toyota didn't fake anything.
The guys who made the video made a bunch of very interesting claims and didn't back them up.

It reminds me of a video about a hydrogen powered car that Toyota was about to release.
That video was also fake. For some reason I think you posted them both. Did you help make them?
