To a very large extent, evangelicals, tea partiers and war hawks (throw in some billionaires like the Koch brothers and Sheldon Alderson) comprise the Republicans' voters' base.

Since moderate republicans are just about extinct, the question then surfaces......

Is the above cadre enough to ever win back the WH ?

GOP's loosing their big club in the bag - persecution of homosexuals. As demographics change and acceptance of homosexuality increases in voters in all age demos, GOP is going to have run on you know, talent again. And right now they don't have that club in their bags.
