And then just today, (now I'm eating crow) Trump calls for Chip Roy to be primaried. One of THE most fiscally conservative congressmen we have. And Trump has called to have him primaried because Roy doesn't want to increase the debt ceiling. Roy doesn't want to eliminate the debt ceiling. Roy doesn't want to give amnesty to the parents of dreamers. All of which Trump is calling for.

It has nothing to do with who Roy is. It has to do with policy and policy disagreements. Trump did not want another debt ceiling fiasco in three months and Roy is not addressing that issue. Again I don't know enough of the details on the issue to know which one I think is the most right at this time. I do think they are both right.

And he knows it's just another kick the can move, that's going to result in the same exact thing happening next year. And the same exact thing happening to the national debt for the next year. Only now, it's on fucking steroids. Increasing for more than $1 trillion per year.

Trump don't care about the national debt. The interest we're paying on the debt. FFS, Trump brags about being the "King of Debt." This is why he wants the debt ceiling suspended, so he and congress can spend as much as they want on anything they want. And not have to be held accountable for even the BS spending he signs off on.

Things like is what keeps inflation skyrocketing. It's why the cost of almost everything continues to rise. And why wages have to increase. Which is why so many manufacturing companies have left the USA. It's why a god damn burger, fries and a coke is $10-$15. Or a half way decent vehicle is $40,000.

That is true. But it's a damn good place to start. And eliminating a worthless debt ceiling that Congress will ALWAYS raise every time these things come up and will add billions in pork while they're at it when they do it, would also probably be a very wise thing. Without that opportunity to increase spending every few months, it would give Trump and DOGE and what reformers there are in Congress some breathing room to make a difference.
