Innocent man billed for police rectal probe

US man wrongly suspected of hiding drugs in his colon was reportedly given a rectal probe - and billed for the unwanted examination.

Torrence Jackson said he refused consent for the invasive procedure, and suffered internal injuries as a result.

According to the Post-Standard, doctors in Syracuse, upstate New York, refused to carry out the examination until police obtained a warrant.

The hospital sent Mr Jackson, 42, a bill for $4,595.12 (£3,600).

Dear me. What an unpleasant experience. If only Mr Jackson had the good sense to be a white guy then none of this would have happened.
Seriously though, this sort of thing could not happen over here, we dont live in a police state.

Do you have proof that in Britain drug suspects are never given involuntary rectal exams by the police? Because that's a pretty tall tale.

Also, you have CCTV cameras everywhere, which makes you a police state.

Also, your "subjects" (not citizens) are disarmed and have no defense against the government.

So push your lies somewhere else.

A real bargain, considering our highly trained swat suppository specialists ,complete with all their bells and whistles ,responded to Mr Jackson's large intestine w/red lights and sirens , does that include warrant ,laundry and delousing fees?

In Iran, the victim would be killed for being homo.
You should move to Iran. You know it’s so much freer than the US.

You don't live in a police state. You must be trolling on purpose, Tommy. We could just start with your "hate speech" laws maybe.

Tommy you have to come to an American forum to spill your bile because you'd be in jail if you typed this stuff in the UK, isn't that true?

Maybe if blacks stopped dealing and doing drugs at the rates they do, they wouldn’t be harassed about it so much.

Poor guy:

"The suspect -- Torrence Jackson, 42, of Syracuse -- had built a bad reputation with police long before they picked him up Oct. 16, 2017. He frequently defied officers, often in dangerous ways.

His criminal record started as a juvenile with a prison sentence for robbery in the mid-1990s. While on parole in 1998, he fled from police in a high-speed chase through Syracuse that included a pursuit on Interstate 81.

Jackson’s 20-page rap sheet includes multiple charges of resisting arrest, fleeing officers, drug use and illegal gun possession. He led police on another chase on I-81 and I-690 in 2013. Police used a Taser twice to subdue him, records show.

In 2015, after yet another arrest, a judge admonished Jackson for his reckless behavior around police.

“We’ve been through this before,” Judge John Brunetti told Jackson. “You did not cooperate with police and they had to (take) you to the ground… That does not have to happen, OK?”

Jackson’s pattern continued after last year’s search. He’s facing felony weapons and drug charges after an August arrest, accused of possessing a loaded handgun, heroin, hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia in his residence."

Anyone south of living under a rock was witness to our militarization after 9/11 here Tom.

This included all ere's (emergency response employees)btw , training followed military tactics ,along with the procurement of military grade weaponry, all of which followed legislative doctrine

It was all about terrorism ......terorrists,,,,terorrists...terrorists.....that's all we heard, visions of muslims with C4 vests were foisted upon a scared public , which turned into a swat response to teenagers manufacturing pipe bombs out of matchheads

Something the local barney fife would have mitigated w/out fanfare in the past was now elevated to a domestic terrorist statistic , much for the sake of said stat being condusive to empire growth when approaching the feds w/hat in hand

And one's department had to play nice, for that fed biscuit. Google N.I.M.S. , and i'll fill you in on the specifics of that, and do note your posting with the only e.r.e. that purposely failed it

Further, it was the left who screamed foul, the right along with their God given conservative morality caved like scared rabbits , hid under their beds demanding security

I guess you would know, Tommy. Hypocrisy much?

If only those men had been white, then the UK could be the leader of world in rights.

Hypocritical British trash on the forum again. You are a disgrace to your people Tommy.

What happened to Mr. Jackson is clearly wrong and reprehensible, regardless the issuance of a warrant – and should be condemned by all.

But this incident is in no manner ‘representative’ of the American judicial system overall – to argue otherwise fails as a hasty generalization fallacy.

All the Western liberal democracies have been under siege for years by the authoritarian reactionary right as a consequence of ‘terrorism’ – conservatives willing to sacrifice our freedom for a false sense of ‘security.’

And the UK is in no position to be critical of other nations with regard to accusations of being a ‘police state’ – where in the UK one can be subject to criminal prosecution for engaging in ‘hate speech,’ resulting in fines, imprisonment, or both; in the United States hate speech is entitled to Constitutional protections, prohibiting government from seeking to silence such speech through criminal prosecution.

Indeed, let us not forget how the UK treated Tommy Robinson, and how the OP, Tainted Tommy has defended and supported this corrupt and abusive behavior on the part of his own government.
