You probably heard ,but, the fascist conservative government in Louisiana just pst a bill that puts the Jewish ,christian , ten commandments in public schools,which violates separation of church and state. Why didn't the democrats up there made an effort to stop that? Because,like the republicans they too are against open Marriage.They felt by working against the republicans they would be endorsing extra martial sex.Since these sneaky conservatives are in sympathy with conservative ideology subtly this fueled the republicans,by begging game .That the demos never did under Johnson they worked against republicans,even though the demos were not 100 percent back then.The old ten commandments is not legal tender.It is an ancient code that was design to keep the tribe going way before the Jewish religion was ever invented ,before the Hellenistic period. It was based on the eastern messepatanian and eastern myth. The concept of adultery was base on keeping property within the family ,not sex . The idea was that to make sure that the wife got pregnant from the husband only or the family would have to share the finance and property with the child of the best friend of the husband.Thus was also an attempt at birth control with in the family ,as not to get it large and attempt at preventing the wife from getting the disease .But, the hypocrisy of this was that it was okay for a married man to have sex with other women and get them pregnant.It wasn't until thousands of years later in the puritanical period when the pilgrims and puritans came to the us. That they applied it to the married male ,with punishment . Later reinforced by the Comstock act and the adultery and fornicating and sodomy laws.Origininally it was directed against married women.

Wow! You just about crashed my spell check when I quoted you post. I will bold the text of your errors so you can try this again in English. Capitalization, spelling, grammar, spacing, and word choice are missing throughout your entire post.

BTW, the Comstock Act applies to the Post Office. It has nothing to do with the Ten Commandments.

Try again, and you might get someone to read your content.

In fact, in many states and at the federal level, we are governed by a quasi theocracy. This case is a perfect example of it.

Incorrect. Thomas Jefferson and Catholics:
  1. Believe in the existence of a creator.
  2. Believe that the creator is moralistic.
  3. Believe that the creator is providential.
  4. Believe that natural rights come from the creator.
Atheists believe none of that.

I wish you would learn to read what I write Saint_Ding.

I said Jefferson was farther from the Catholic Church than an atheist at the time when there were no true atheists in the Gentleman Class of any white European Protestant or Catholic Society.

When our founding generation led us away from one of humanity’s greatest curses - European hereditary system of government based upon Divine Rule of Royal Families.- it had nothing to do with key tenets of orthodox Christianity which includes the Bible’s divine origins, the deity of Christ, original sin, Jesus sacrifice on the cross, his resurrection after bring dead and all the other miraculous accounts in Scripture.

You iii. Proof in writing that this country was not founded on any religion. 240531. {post•143}

NotfooledbyW Aug’24 Vpiwtt: What makes a person qualified to be a Christian when you claim it is true that America was founded by Christians?

In 1776 the majority of Christians on earth were Catholic. The Catholic Church founded Christianity and that Christian Church served for centuries as the potent mind control enforcement agency for the European hereditary system of government that was entirely based upon the notion that royalty is given sanction to rule by Divine right,

In 1776 most Christian’s did not consider Protestants to be Christians. The Catholic Church had nothing to do with the founding of America. The Protestants believe the same thing about the divinity of Jesus and the story of the Cross of Christ and they also served as the potent mind control enforcement agency for the European hereditary system of government.

It is more realistic to say truthfully based upon historical facts that America was founded by revolutionary intellectuals who decided the Christian Church could not be trusted to protect liberty of conscience for the law abiding citizenry of the new experimental nation based on self governance / no more divine rights based upon the heredity of God’s chosen families or nations, nfbw 240531 Vpiwtt00143

You need to “burst your chains” Saint_Ding……….

America would “be to the world . . . the signal of arousing men to burst the chains under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves,” jffrsn see below

I have never said atheists believe any of that - so your point is pointless within this particular discussion.

When you use specific words in your arguments, you tend to limit the meaning of words to suit your argument because if you don’t your argument fails.

Here is an example of what I mean;

About three-quarters of U.S. atheists (77%) do not believe in God or a higher power or in a spiritual force of any kind, according to our summer 2023 survey. At the same time, 23% say they do believe in a higher power of some kind, though fewer than 1% of U.S. atheists say they believe in “God as described in the Bible.”

This shows that not all self-described atheists fit the literal definition of “atheist,” which is “a person who does not believe in the existence of a god or any gods,” according to Merriam-Webste

Jefferson did not believe in God as described in the Bible.

Atheists and Jefferson can believe that Jesus was a human being like every other human being since the beginning of time, but that he was a great moral teacher.

When I am saying to you, same thing is that Jefferson was more of a threat to the Catholic Church because of what he actually wrote the most powerful and corrupt state run mind control propaganda making machine the planet has every known.

Thomas Jefferson’s well known anti-clericalism is generally treated as part of his advocacy for intellectual freedom, but it is also a sign of his participation in a much broader culture of anti-popery. Evan Haefeli will set Jefferson’s much lauded hope that America would “be to the world . . . the signal of arousing men to burst the chains under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves,” within a longstanding anti-popish tradition that contrasted liberty, knowledge, and science with stereotypes usually associated with Roman Catholicism. More than just anti-Catholic prejudice, the religious and political values derived from this tradition fused had been a fundamental part of how British Americans understood their liberty. It remained invaluable to Americans as they forged a separate national identity by offering a compellingly familiar model of what Americans knew they were notat a time when they were not sure who they really
