Yup. Mike Lee is a good man but does have ideas a bit out of touch with the mainstream from time to time. I doubt seriously this bill will gain any serious traction, though I do think we need to reinforce/strength or maybe just enforce public decency laws, especially were children are concerned.

That would not forbid all pornography--Playboy and Penthouse et al would still be safe--but we wouldn't have the vulgar sexually explicit parade displays that once would never have been allowed and children would again be protected from the likes of that.

I’m a Conservative and this is a non-starter. It is a political party trying to social engineer US. It doesn’t work. The Democrats put their social engineering goals as top ticket items in 2024 and it cost them the election. The same thing will happen if Republicans go down that path.
