GOP wins both FL House seats in special election

The Dems lose a house set, and are over here cheering that they keep a Judgeship in the State of Wisconsin?

Another big win, was the Constitutional amendment to the Wisconsin Constitution requiring voter ID moving forward....big win for democracy

Really? haha , I hope you all never change

And special elections always trend with national ones?
Off-year special elections are noted for their poor turnout. Worse because it was in April instead of November.

That said there was a better-than-expected gop turn-out in FL this go-round which more than off-set the dem propensity to go vote in special elections.

And Florida is where Republicans are probably the most happy with their government at this point.

Republican state Sen. Randy Fine has prevailed in a special congressional election in Florida on Tuesday, NBC News projects, though the race is shaping up to be closer than November’s results in the deeply Republican district.

ALLAHASSEE, Florida — Jimmy Patronis, a mainstay in Tallahassee who rose to the statewide post of chief financial officer, is headed to Congress according to the Associated Press after voters in Matt Gaetz’s former district picked him to replace the firebrand.

The 52-year-old Republican defeated Democrat Gay Valimont in a special election held after Gaetz resigned late last year to mount a short-lived quest to become President Donald Trump’s attorney general.

:oops8:

Looks like the Trump mandate is working out. ;)

They must be OK with DOGE too.
I'm sure that was a relief for you. lol

Fine won his district by 14 points. Trump had won that district by 30.

Republicans there are concerned. But the rubes can pretend not to be.
Yep, we should be concerned the Republican only won by 14 points.
