It's over, dummy! Thankfully, it's not up to him. Why would anyone want to name our proud military bases after a bunch of losers? It makes no sense whatsoever. Getting rid of the Confederate names was absolutely the right thing to do, supported by the American people. There is no sense in dredging up the past, unless you just like to wallow in the Confederate defeat!

Bigly!!!
All U.S. military bases should be named after Medal of Honor winners.

Did you say that to the idiots that changed the names?

Libs are so clueless

This is what we want. Conservatives want to conserve the old names of these bases.

Elections have consequences, and this is one of them.

If you dipshits ever get your heads far enough out of your asses to win an election, you can rename the Gulf of America back to the Gulf of Mexico if you want to.

Those names are the names of Americans.

They were US Generals before the civil war, and after the war they were all pardoned. It’s called “reconciliation”, a concept you wouldn’t understand.

You mean conservatives want to honor the old racist.

Bullshit, you want to keep the old racist around, why should traitors have the honor of having a military base named after them.

Name changes for places that have long held the old name seldom work IRL. No one can remember Fort Cavazos, so it's still referred to as Ft. Hood around here. People will refer to the Gulf of Mexico, no matter what the name change is, if it even happens.

I know not this 'Gulf of Mexico' of which you speak.

Are you from that timeline where the Monopoly Man has a monocle, there's a cornucopia on the Fruit of the Loom logo and Darth Vader says "Luke, I am your Father."?
