The court cases highlight Republican judicial corruption, a huge winning election issue for Democrats.

JD Vance brings nothing to the Trump ticket, and hurts it by being so radical. There's not a single voter out there thinking "Golly, because I like JD Vnace so much, I'll vote for Trump now!". There are plenty scared of his agenda who will now vote Democratic.

The assassin was shown to be a hardcore conservative, radicalized by a right-wing guncult. More votes to Democrats.
