Huginn and Muninn – Odin’s Curse
Through twilight mists they rise and soar,
black as death, to distant lore.
Huginn who thinks – from shadow made,
Muninn who feels – in sorrow laid.
They circle o’er a bleeding land,
witness fire, fall, and final stand.
No prayer escapes their midnight flight,
no secret hides from Odin’s sight.
Yet even gods know creeping dread—
that Muninn might not return from the dead.
For knowledge is power, sharp as a knife,
but memory cuts deeper than life.
