A lawyer for Hunter Biden is warning those involved in promulgating assertions about his infamous laptop computer that they could face unspecified litigation over their claims.

Washington attorney Abbe Lowell, who took over as Bidenā€™s counsel in December, sent the ā€œlitigation holdā€ letters on Wednesday to 14 people allegedly linked to efforts to generate coverage critical of the 53-year-old son of President Joe Biden, according to a person familiar with the development.

Among those receiving the letters are a lawyer for former President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani; Giulianiā€™s lawyer Robert Costello; and an attorney for John Paul Mac Isaac, a former Delaware computer repair shop owner who handled a laptop computer that Hunter Biden dropped off in 2019.

ā€œYou have made various statements and engaged in certain activities by your own admission, or that have been publicly reported in the media, concerning our client, Robert Hunter Biden,ā€ Lowell wrote in one such letter obtained by POLITICO. ā€œThis letter ā€¦ constitutes notice that a litigation hold should be in effect for the preservation and retention of all records and documents related to Mr. Biden.ā€

ā€œIt may be necessary to produce this material in litigation,ā€ Lowell added, without elaborating on the type of litigation or the potential defendants.

And you guys may want to lawyer up for the following criminal trials.

Why would the general public need a lawyer? That's really, REALLY deranged. . .

I notice you cherry picked one side of this article. I had to click on it, b/c I seriously thought it was an editorial or an opinion column, the way you presented it. . .

". . . An adviser to Giuliani dismissed the letters as an intimidation tactic.

ā€œInstead of gossiping with reporters and leaking this stuff to the press, Abbe Lowell should focus on the facts because the facts donā€™t support his allegations,ā€ the adviser, Ted Goodman, told POLITICO. ā€œThis is yet another failed attempt by Mr. Lowell to silence and intimidate Mayor Giuliani and Mr. Costello. Thatā€™s why he made sure to send this letter to you guys.ā€

Costello, confirming that he had received similar letters for Giuliani, former Trump White House counselor Steve Bannon and himself, said on Wednesday night: ā€œThis is just another foolish attempt to intimidate. It will not work.ā€

The new fusillade of letters is part of a series of increasingly acrimonious exchanges in recent days between the younger Bidenā€™s lawyers and people connected to efforts to publicize details about the alleged contents of the laptop in advance of the 2020 presidential election.

Last week, Lowell sent letters to the Justice Department and Delaware attorney general asking for investigations into various people allegedly connected to handling of the laptop and the data said to have come from it.

Mac Isaacā€™s lawyer, Brian Della Rocca, did not respond to a message seeking comment on Wednesday but scoffed last week at Hunter Bidenā€™s increasingly combative legal strategy. . . "

Those riding the email to fame should be worried. No deal was every consummated concerning the deal with the big guy. No sign documents. Big guy could be anyone. Joe Biden is only 6 ft tall and probably weighs about 150 lbs. Sure Hunter had a drug problem and you would think that him asking for additional money for the big guy would mean that he needed more money for drugs and woman. His partners are just mad because they got caught up in making the deal instead of using their brains.
