I watch a wide variety of sites and media. I have 3/4 of a century of life experience and education that also helps with my ability to identify misinformation. Bottom line, there isn't an honest word that comes out of any politicians mouth--BAR NONE. When it comes to those situations, I consider the effectiveness of the person who is running. In this election, it is not a question. The current admin has been a disaster--they haven't got a clue and have no respect for the constitution. The past admins' history of accomplishments in spite of an obstructionist congress has made up my mind. As far as what either candidate says--I wouldn't trust anything either one says.
Okay, well I'm not going to try to argue any of your points because from my perspective they kind of all do the same things and we're just the pawns they use to get to where they're going.
The thing is, I don't think anyone likes to feel like their only purpose (to those trying to get elected) is for someone to use them and then throw them away, so then it comes down to a matter of "who will I get screwed less by, this candidate or that candidate".
I would vote for anyone before I vote for Trump for very specific reasons but the main reason is because he targets people and groups, many of which, I am a member of. Most normal people, they don't get what they want, it's "oh well" and then they move on. Or they take whatever legal action may be available to them and seek redress that way, but eventually everyone gets to the point where they move on or they become a mass shooter </sarc> if they are unable to lawfully resolve their issues.
But not so with Trump, he's very aggrieved on a multitude of subjects and some of them are not even "real". And by real I mean that in our business you have people who are targeted for things that they have done and/or said, but then there is an additional category of things that they are "perceived" to have done and said.
It's horrible enough to be targeted by one crazy/vengeful person. It's another thing to be targeted by that crazy/vengeful person plus their minions who will extract retribution on his behalf for all of the
perceived acts allegedly committed
.
And this is ALL before we even get to address this administration's policies and governance.
So you stating that I'm biased against Trump and for Harris is not exactly accurate but not wrong either. I'm not REQUIRED to be unbiased when it comes to making decisions about what's best for my life. The difference though, is I'm not going to come after you or anyone else if I don't get my way or more importantly if I DO get my way and have the upper hand. I can't say the same for Trump and that's what bothers a lot of people, myself particularly.
