If you could implant your memories & "consciousness" into a PC would you?

Live forever digitally?
Or are you content with a one & done life?

Only if I could screw with people.

If I could show up on someone's pc then it would be worth it.

I don't think a PC with my knowledge would be the same as me. When I'm dead, I'm dead, and the PC would simply be running a program that might think it is me. It would not be me.

I reckon I will for posterity's sake... Might help with reference's to my museum they will build... Just make sure there are plenty band-aids... I fall down a whole ton when there are placydls around...

That sounds terrible. I remember reading a science fiction story about a guy who figured out how to give you immortality by implanting your consciousness in a crystal. He would then extort the living to "release" the consciousness from it's prison and be at peace. Sounds kind of like that. Now if you could be in a Terminator like body and do stuff, be productive, explore places then maybe.

Shoot.......I would prerecord my face smushed on glass so when one of my friends turned on their computer the whole screen would have my mug on it and you could hear me say, "Let me out".
