Don't know. What I do know is that in a few years Texas will be majority Hispanic. When THAT state goes...it's curtains. And those curtains won't be opening again. If Trump wins, 2020 could possibly be the last Republican President.
Didn't they say the same about Bush?
What makes you think hard-working Catholic Mexican-Americans won't vote Republican?
ME: In the end, it will be Democrats' own insanioty and extremism that losed them the election. There are many examples in this forum. Her is anpother:
Justin Haskins: In 2020, socialism could flip Minnesota - and the election - to Trump
Justin Haskins: In 2020, socialism could flip Minnesota -- and the election -- to Trump
Brief excerpt: ".......But Trump is not a “normal” Republican. He only lost Minnesota by a little more than 40,000 votes in 2016. Mitt Romney lost by more than 200,000.
And that only tells part of the story. Many Republicans concerned about Trump voted for Libertarian Gary Johnson, who received more than 112,000 votes, or conservative Trump critic Evan McMullin, who garnered more than 53,000 votes. It’s unlikely similar candidates will get the same level of support in 2020, which means Trump should have a better shot in Minnesota than he did in 2016.
Trump also dramatically outperformed other Republicans running for statewide offices in 2012, 2014 and 2018.
There’s another great reason to believe Trump has a good shot of winning Minnesota: Democrats are increasingly moving away from the policies swing voters in the state have long valued in favor of radical progressivism and even socialism. Democrats have moved so far to the left during the current election cycle that it’s becoming difficult to tell the difference between their party's platform and the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America.
Democrats no longer represent the party of John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton. If Minnesota’s more moderate Democrats realize that, it could mean huge trouble for whomever the party’s left-wing base chooses to face off against Trump. And there’s a great reason to believe they will take notice thanks in part to freshman Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar.
To say Omar has had an absolutely disastrous first term in office would be an understatement. Not only has she been plagued by questions about potential violations of campaign finance rules and immigration laws and remarks some have deemed to be anti-Semitic, she has also routinely advocated for some of the most radical, socialistic policies offered in decades — including "Medicare-for-All," the "cancellation" of all student loan debt, and the craziest proposal of all: the Green New Deal.
The Green New Deal, the brainchild of fellow socialist radical New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, would destroy millions of jobs by completely eliminating the fossil-fuel industry — almost overnight — and forcing people to purchase much more expensive renewable energy. It would also impose other socialist schemes, including basic income programs, a federal jobs guarantee, single-payer health care, a slew of “social justice” programs, and a whole new system of publicly-owned banks.
This radical socialist proposal might be a popular idea among elites in parts of the Northeast and on the West Coast, but it isn’t the sort of thing middle-of-the-road Democrats have historically backed in the heart of the Midwest......(SNIP)

More wishful thinking. Trump attacking Omar has helped her. There is no way in hell Minnesota will vote for Trump. Voters will reject Trump because of his extreme right wing views. Trump is in big trouble in Arizona, Texas and probably Georgia as well.
Obama tried to destroy it with regulation and Trump brought it back. THAT is the fact. The energy sector has always run boom or bust. The market, with cheap natural gas and decades of automation are what is killing coal. Trump offered up a false front and voters bought it.

You might be surprised about latinos in Texas. They're not like the welfare bums in California. All the high paying jobs for them is in the oil field and they damn sure won't support the new green deal which would put them all out of a job.
You think that $16.67/hr is "high pay?"
A hell of a lot better than no job at all. If the oil field crashes in Texas and the latiinos lose their jobs the economy will crash.
Good luck with the green raw deal.

Doesn't matter, they way he's packing the lower courts and the high probability of another conservative on the Supreme Court. Donald Trump has permanently altered the cellular structure of this country.
That being said, given the dismal quality of candidates the Democrats have dredged up, Trump is a sure winner in 2020.

Culturally they are actually quite conservative. We could be winning them to our side. Abortion? Gay Marriage? They don't go for that shit.
Horseshit. That is a Boomer Cuck talking point. Hispanics and white conservatives have fuck all in common if you take away Jesus.Don't know. What I do know is that in a few years Texas will be majority Hispanic. When THAT state goes...it's curtains. And those curtains won't be opening again.

Good point. Naturalized American Hispanics generally tend to abhor abortion, since they are primarily Catholic in nature. They believe that a marriage is between one man and one woman, and think that homosexuality is wrong. They also dislike the fact that illegal border-crossers are stealing their jobs, their tax money, and their resources.
I lived in Texas for a little over 25 years, so I know this to be true.
No, I'm a REAL right winger...you boomer cucks with your 'talking points' are LARPing douche bags who sold this country down the fucking river.Culturally they are actually quite conservative. Fuck you punk, you little bitch. You're just an ignorant racist bitch who makes rightwingers look bad.
Old country Mexicans are a lot like old country Italians, big families, usually Catholic, very conservative abortion, and gay marriage is out of the question.
Shut your ignorant dickhole. You're not doing our side any favors.
