It still has a good picture, you just have to slap it once in a while when it gets those lines in it

The smaller the screen the sharper the picture but I'm having trouble finding non-Russian vacuum tubes for my 11-inch Tele-Tone console. Fortunately today's capacitors (though in limited supply) handily replace the waxed paper originals most of which have dried out. I was supprised, though,how easy it was to clean up the ooze from the electrolytics.

Even with the cheat Chinese made demod (external tuner with D/A conversion the picture is still sharp. Yes, about 10 years ago I bought a couple of extra CRTs for about 10-cents on the dollar. There's still one in the box.

If I can just remember where I put the box!
