Zone1 Is there a reason besides desiring voter fraud/cheating to NOT have Voter ID?

#2) Rank bigotry: the presumption that the poor and "marginalized" are too stupid and/or lazy to get and ID, which is free of charge.
I think democrats in their bubble view this as an intelligent opinion… but it’s completely derogatory and insulting

That’s what white, purple-haired, unathletic, angry, socialist, unemployed freshman at UC berkley say

Yes, protecting the right to vote.

We have a long history of voter suppression with schemes such as Poll Taxes and Literacy Tests.
If they're not literate enough to have ID, they're not literal enough to vote Joe.

The problem of voter ID doesn't exist in Canada Joe. Your objection to it sounds like sour grapes over the election. You need to accept it as the new America. There are lots of changes coming that are a lot more important than ID!

Given that voter fraud involving someone voting under someone else’s identity is not proven to be happening.

Demanding voter ID only denies legitimate voters from voting

That’s like saying a stadium requesting to see your tickets before you go to your seats is denying other fans from their seats.

Explain your attempt at your point

I can’t think of any logical reason why any US voter would oppose a requirement of validating their ID to vote.

Are any USMB leftists/Democrats able to do so? Your party always fights it, and many of your states don’t require it. It’s a leftist position (and a radical one, way out there in left field. Pretty much All other countries require it.)
Seniors in assisted living facilities rarely own vehicles, driver licenses, or any other form of ID. My mother lived in one of these places for 18 months and didn`t have a purse, wallet or anything else because she didn`t need it. The facility she was in, knew who she was. Why are you afraid of seniors voting? Over 800,000 seniors live in these places and app 50% of them are 85 years old or older.

Having worked in skilled nursing, that’s not true at all
Why are you afraid of seniors voting?
Of course, nobody is, that’s just a pathetic insecure question from you.

What is preventing them from getting or verifying their ID from now until Nov 2028??

Are they too dumb? There are plenty of social resources, social transportation, and programs set up for this. There is nothing preventing them from getting ID. If voting is important to you, you have every opportunity to do it.

But if they are being rejected from being able to do so, give proof how that’s going on

A few years ago they caught a total of 5 (five) fraudulent voters in Pa. and 4 of them wore the red hats.
It works like this for Republicans

You create a crisis out of a non-issue
Then you create a solution that does more damage than the imaginary problem ever did

You have to explain how requiring voter ID prevents citizens to not be able to vote. You just keep saying it. Walk us through it.

A large percentage of them will be deceased before then, so staying alive is a higher priority for them than voting. How are they supposed to learn about these resources that you claim are set up for them? For too many of them, their families are living in different states. For the record, my wife has been an RN for 40 years, but she no longer works in hospitals.

The point is, if they want to vote, they have every ability to do so, or they can perform any process to do so. So, your point doesn’t hold up.

Not everyone votes. If someone chooses not to vote, you don’t get to portray it as some failure of the system.

Explain to us why you`re afraid of voters. Again, you just want to eff with people to discourage voting. The Republican Georgia Secretary of State combed the state`s voting rolls and found 20 non citizens registered to vote out of 8.2 MILLION registered voters. Yes 20 out of 8.2 MILLION. Obviously, you enjoy harassing the elderly and making their lives more difficult than they already are. 20 out of 8.2 million! Read and learn.

Certain people groups have a difficult time obtaining state government IDs...

Those who do not drive....
Those who live in big cities with lots of public transportation tend not to need a driver's license....

But then as well there are illegal aliens....welll....errr....they aren't supposed to vote.

Providing ID isn’t discouraging voting at all. It’s making sure everything is on the up and up. Elections are important.. your ho-hum approach is telling. Especially when your side wails with performative theatre about democracy.

You need ID for nearly everything as an adult. Why would you not want to verify who is voting? we can make elections more secure, and you oppose that? It’s so weird

Not true. It’s easy to get an ID. Look it up, it’s an easy Process. You just have to do it before the last second if you want to vote.

If voting is important to you, you’ll make it happen. Is this about you wanting random rabid last second unverified, uninformed voters to flood the polls? (Like your horrible dangerous border policy!)

For whatever reason sarcastic comments don't seem to be understood.
