Is this even legal?

Thinking if I was Gov they would find themselves in prison.
The election laws are that no foreign national may donate to a U.S. campaign but as this article from Kentucky U explains, the law is so full of holes pretty much anybody can cheat. For instance Super Pacs have to report their donors but they don't have to report who donates to their donors. So I imagine there is a LOT of laundered foreign money involved in our elections. Hopefully Elon's "Efficiency in Government" will have time to look at that and offer recommendations to plug the holes.

As for campaigning, the law does allow foreign nationals to work as volunteers in a U.S. election so long as they are not involved in the decision making processes of the campaign.:

". . .Although foreign nationals may not make contributions or expenditures (including advances of personal funds) in connection with any federal, state or local election, an individual who is a foreign national may participate in campaign activities as an uncompensated volunteer. In doing so, the volunteer must be careful not to participate in the decision-making process of the campaign. The Federal Election Campaign Act (the Act) and Commission regulations specifically prohibit foreign nationals from participating in the decisions of any person involving election-related activity. . ."

That sounds like a major campaign violation as well as election interference to me.

Prohibitions on participation in decision-making

In addition, foreign nationals are prohibited from participating in decisions involving election-related activities. it will be a series of small and unnoticed events where the real damage will come from,,

If not illegal, it sure as hell is foreign election interference.

Imagine how would the left would be screaming and crying if Russia, China, or North Korea sent a bunch of people here to campaign for Trump.

Imagine if Russia, China, and North Korea were all trying to get Trump elected and the MSM was helping them implicitly.
Now replace Trump with Biden or Harris. ;)

Sorry, that's what I meant to type, but there was a short somewhere between my brain, eyes, fingers, and keyboard.
