Image...it's ALL about IMAGE...he's slumping in the polls...NOW is the time after 5 years of his abject ignoance to embrace the 'middleclass' again...Obammy had a veto proof majority why didn't he bring back the 90% rate?
The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities: If not for the Bush tax cuts, the deficit-financed wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the effects of the worst recession since the Great Depression (including the cost of policymakers actions to combat it), we would not be facing these huge deficits in the near term. By themselves, in fact, the Bush tax cuts and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will account for almost half of the $20 trillion in debt that, under current policies, the nation will owe by 2019. The stimulus law and financial rescues will account for less than 10 percent of the debt at that time.
Bush tax cuts appear to be the single largest policy contributor the current deficits.
All these analyses tell the same story in one key respect, however. The primary drivers of the debt predate Barack Obama. The post-9/11 wars and security build-up, the Bush tax cuts, and the 2001 and 2008 recessions simply began before Obama became president. You can blame him for extending the Bush tax cuts till 2012, or for the stimulus (though the stimulus would never have happened without the 2008 financial crisis), but the structural of deterioration came in the Bush years.

How come these right wingers can't prove anything beyond sitting and crying like babies "It's not true!". And look at how they thank each other and call anyone with any brains a "fool".

With the deficits they created, they did have power. It's obvious.

There was no surplus, it was creative bookkeeping. But I know you won't believe that.
No surplus?
Then where did those $300 George Bush checks come from?

I stand amazed at how unembarrased you are by your dishonesty and partisan bigotry.Remember, we had massive deficits from the Reagan and Bush administrations...

PEW Research is a "winger site"?
All of these analyses are using data from the Congressional Budget Office.
Facts are crazy things to white wingers.

Perhaps you should look a bit in to the history and bias in the Pew trusts
And as shown many times.. just because you use data does not mean you are immune from twisting it to an agenda.. we see that continually with the charts and conclusions from many winger sites.. most of which you list for proof of your assertions
Clinton didnt "pass" anything. Budgets are passed by Congress. Who ran COngress during those years? Yeah, the GOP.
Don't mention it, RDean.
Another fail thread.
But TRUTH escapes LIBERALS.facts have a liberal bias

How about we add the dot com bubble while Clinton was in office.
And let's not forget Newt and the GOP congress.
