What else explains the contribution to the inauguration combined with the change in platform policy allowing for more lies and hate speech to be posted, and settling a lawsuit over the legal banishment of trump for repeatedly violating FB's rules?I see how you state as fact that FB is trying to curry favor with TRUMP!
And if you bothered to actually read everything I wrote instead of just the pieces you want to, you would see that I've also said they are trying to curry favor with TRUMP!, but with no indication he's playing ball with them. What else explains the contribution to the inauguration combined with the change in platform policy allowing for more lies and hate speech to be posted, and settling a lawsuit over the legal banishment of trump for repeatedly violating FB's rules?
After all, Dotard threatened to throw Mark in jail for life.
I'm not pretending anything of the sort. I'm stating unequivocally that the decision on whether to censor misinformation related to COVID was ultimately FB's to make. Saying he now regrets the decision is on him, not the Biden admin. You keep pretending that didn't happen.
so what?....'Last Week Tonight With John Oliver' wins the 2024 Emmy for Outstanding Scripted Variety Series
That says nothing about the collusion that went on. Of course, the decision was ultimately FB's, and that's why it's not an explicit violation of the 1st Amendment. I've said that. It was an end run around the 1st.I'm not pretending anything of the sort. I'm stating unequivocally that the decision on whether to censor misinformation related to COVID was ultimately FB's to make. Collusion? You're reaching. That says nothing about the collusion that went on. Of course, the decision was ultimately FB's, and that's why it's not an explicit violation of the 1st Amendment. I've said that. It was an end run around the 1st.
Like I said before, I do not believe you are actually reading what I write. If you did, you would notice that I've ALREADY stipulated that they have not violated the 1st Amendment, nor have I stated that they broke any laws. Now, would you care to dismantle that strawman you are attempting to pummel? It's really a bad look for you. What I said is factually correct.Collusion? You're reaching.
The letter pertains to an ongoing probe that the Republican-majority committee is conducting on online content moderation.
The letter detailed that the COVID-19 content censored due to pressure from the Biden administration included humour and satire and that the officials “expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn’t agree”.
He acknowledged that it was his and his team’s decision to cave in to the pressure.
“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,” he says in the letter.
