Judge Smacks Down Trump Order On Birth Right Citizenship

He is a conservative judge who shredded the Trump administrations argument.
One of the biggest reasons for the existence of our judicial system is to resolve differing opinions on the legality of actions and the meaning of our laws. IF you remove all the hyperbole (and there's a metric ass ton of it) surrounding this it's just a challenge to a prior court holding. Happens all the time. It's not racism, or a threat to our democracy or fascism, or the actions of a tyrant.

Agree.

I believe it is rooted in racism.

Does the EO grant birthright citizenship to white babies or some other race of babies but not others?

You can use whatever excuses you want but there is no question it's based in racism.

You have zero evidence to support that other than "but Trump". In other words, a metric ass ton of hyperbole.

I just posted evidence from Trump's architect of the racism.

In the first rebuff to Trump’s attack on birthright citizenship, Senior U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour issued an order today blocking the new executive order from taking effect for 14 days. There will be a further briefing on a preliminary injunction to permanently block the executive order while the case proceeds.

The judge gave Trump both barrels:
"I’ve been on the bench for over four decades. I can’t remember another case where the question presented is as clear as this one. This is a blatantly unconstitutional order."

This is good. The faster this gets to SCOTUS, the better.

That pic is a recent pic from the recent snow storms. So you have someone with a misleading picture and no context and you expect people to reply, how?

Because many people (or personally known people who have) have been in vehicle accidents with illegal immigrants.

Everyone has been damaged by these people. Some even with permanent disabilities afterwards.

Um no you didn't.

1, The "article" you posted is just hyperbole.

2, The "cages" it references were built by Obama.

3, the photos of the "kids in cages" were from during the Obama admin's time. (not that kids weren't detained during the Trump era as well)

The reason children and adults are separated is because they have no way of verifying if the groups are even related. Border patrol has to separate them in order to protect children who are being trafficked. If you don't want to that to happen to you don't cross the border illegally. Last I checked BP isn't heading south of our border and rounding up kids to throw in jail. The US allows more legal immigration than any other country in the world. In fact if you add up the numbers for the top 10 countries in that regard we account for 20% of the total. That's legal immigration not total immigration (legal and illegal). We have a border for a reason and that border has to mean something. If immigration policy flawed fix it. The Dems held both houses of Congress and the Presidency just 2 years ago, did they pass an immigration law fixing it?

And I condemned it when Obama did it. Miller should not be allowed anywhere near the White House.

It's just the realities of immigration enforcement at the border. Especially given the amount of child and human trafficking going on there. Is it better for kids to be separated from their parents for a short amount of time while the BP figures out whether they are being trafficked or allowing mass human trafficking across our border because the pictures make you feel bad?
