Harry Reid lost this seat to Paul Laxalt in 1974. Reid won it in 1986 as Laxalt retired. He anointed Masto as his successor in 2016. Now she has held Reid's seat by defeating Laxalt's grandson and preventing Reid's nemesis, Mitch McConnell, from becoming majority leader.

Republicans DESERVE everything that is happening to them now. The American people don't want this white nationalist extremism that Donald Trump is ramming down the throats of the country. They have voted against the extremist Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade overwhelmingly, and yet Republicans are STILL talking about a national ban on abortion.

The entire party needs to be burnt down and rebuilt on a democratic foundation, which really does respect the Constitution, and not try to trample it underfoot, all while lying to the people about their policies and their effects.
