(Reuters) - Apple Inc Chief Executive Office Tim Cook raised concern on Thursday over LGBTQ laws in the United States, mainly those focused on young people that opponents refer to as "don't say gay" legislation.
"As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am deeply concerned about laws being enacted across the country, particularly those focused on our vulnerable youth," Cook said on Twitter.
Walt Disney Co's Bob Chapek is another chief executive to voice his disappointment about the LGBTQ legislation.

I am glad that we still have some sane teachers. Do you live and teach in an area where common sense is more prevalent in the classroom? I just moved from the West Coast to a very small rural Midwest farming town and from what I can see, our teachers are all pretty dedicated and intelligent and intolerant of the silliness.One group came out recently and countered by saying they are all our kids or some such.
No they are not. They absolutely are not. I never forget that in the classroom, I hope.
(To clarify: that does not mean I don't care about my students. I really do. But NOT in the way a mother or father ever can--I am a mother, so I know. I don't have a mother's role, but a different one, also important I hope. But not a parent!)
