As the piece in the OP notes, if James has indeed declared that her Virginia house is her primary residence, then her office is already technically vacated.

The alternative is that she didn’t really mean it. If that’s the case, then the claim in the Virginia papers (including mortgage application) that it was to become her primary residence was a fraud on the State of Virginia.

At the very least, NY’s flop of a governor should press Letitia on it.
