speaking of credibility - Rs in the Stock Markets in 2008 had enough of Bush by Nov 2008 ....

Ridiculous.

Liberals.....especially those who own businesses and have investments in the stock market.....love corporate profits and a booming Wall Sreet.

But...we think that corporations have a responsibility to their employees, the community and the nation. Profits ought to be pumped into the economy.........and the people who make decisions within corporations should have a little self restraint when it comes to compensating themselves.

A CEO making 300 times what his lowest paid employee makes is enough....isn't' it? It used to be 40 or 50 times. Now it is 400 or 500 times.

Regulations on banks that prevent them from gambling and creating schemes is good, isn't it? We used to have them. Then we didn't.

Get your facts straight. In fact...if all you nutters would take some time to learn what liberals really like and dislike.....want and don't want......we'd be able to rid ourselves of ridiculous threads like this.

Irrelevant pseudo-intellectual response. The OP merely pointed out that "corporate profits" and the "stock market" are viewed by Liberals as "evil" during Republican administrations but good during Democratic administrations. This reveals an unfortunate facet of Liberalism: Power is more important than policy.

And I refuted that assertion. I love corporate profits and the stock market regardless of who is President. The idea that liberals think these things are evil at any time is bullshit.

Do you know what the word "irrelevant" means?

"Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." (2004)

"Dissent is the lowest form of racism." (2012)

The OP was commenting on Liberalism. Just because YOU claim to "love" corporate profits and the stock market doesn't mean that represents Liberalism in this country. Obama's entire reelection campaign was based on vilifying them. Or were you sleeping?

Again..........

Nobody vilified the profits. You are confused. What Obama ran on was his desire to have those profits benefit the middle class..........for more equal distribution of the wealth.

Fucking duh!

The profits are not yours to demand the use of. Without your ability to say what YOU deem their purpose to be they would be considered evil.

Nothing has changed about how profits are distributed just the bullshit rhetoric from you libbies

Nope. Much has changed. Look it up.

The rich are still rich. The poor are even poorer and you are still as blind as ever. NOTHING but poverty levels has changed for everyday Americans. More are poor but not because of the rich. And all your little papers in congress have done nothing to change those facts. Unless you count welfare.

My op stands as a shining example of the nature of liberalism in general.

Gramps....

We have been over it a million times. You are not interested in the facts.

You are wrong about what liberals think and want.

Don't thinks so? Just ask straight forward questions. Instead of the agenda driven bullshit questions that you nutters always ask.

Example:

To any liberal here:

Do you hate corporations?

Do you own stocks?

Is your problem with banks the fact that they make money?6

Try it. See what kind of straightforward answers you get.
