This should be interesting.

LOL

“We are asking the most fortunate Angelenos to participate in this effort, with personal, private sector and philanthropic funds – to help us acquire more properties, lower the cost of capital and speed up housing,” Bass explained. “This is the mission of our new capital campaign, LA4LA.”

Charity is not the solution,, but it's worth noting that this is another attempt to fulfill the need for social reform in America.

Hey guys, Leftwingers aren't big on using their own resources to help the poor. Sorry.

Los Angeles needs to change it's zoning, permitting, and tax laws to allow about 30,000,000 high rise apartments people can afford to buy.

Los Angeles county, Orange County, San Diego County, and Riverside County, all need high density housing, downtown and near industrial centers.

You may as well name the first one The Carter....That's all the good that would come from it.

Hell, the animals are even wilder than when New Jack City was filmed.

I am 100% against illegal immigration. That said I do not like to see 10 people crowded into 2 bedroom homes.

I also knew dozens of people that had to live with their parents because of the extreme shortage of housing along the Southern California Coast.

Everyone needs to sleep, nobody takes better care of where they sleep if they own it.

Of course they won't. How do you think they became rich to begin with?

This is just the usual mismanagement of taxes that doesn't carry consequences. Corruption costs lives, sometimes many lives, even across generations. At the government level it should be a capital crime.

Actually, she is looking for donations from business leaders and philanthropic organizations to buy houses/buildings for people who are struggling to live there.

Why would you have a problem with that? Would you rather see them homeless?

He's asking for donations, not purchases.

Oh shit. Every time I think the left can't get any stupider I get proven wrong.

Just make the rich pay their fair share.

If they do not voluntarily buy homes for the homeless, Cali should confiscate the property of the rich and use it to house new comers.

It is for the greater good…eminent domain.
