We have seen it before Tommy, i just watched a film Drama about racist cops in the 70s and 80s looks like National front members infested the Met in particular carrying out what looked like Nazi pogroms against the Black community, it was at the time when Blair Peach was murdered by the SPG, i really don't think the knuckle draggers have advanced one bit, in fact it could have gone backwards with the likes of Farage being promoted by the media.

A man has been detained after a car collided with pedestrians in Liverpool city centre after Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory parade.​

Emergency services descended on Water Street after Merseyside police were contacted just after 6pm on Monday with reports of the incident.​

The car was stopped at the scene and a man was detained. Merseyside police later confirmed the man was a 53-year-old British man from the Liverpool area.​

​

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances leading up to the collision,” the force said.​

The Guardian understands the investigation, at this stage, is being led by Merseyside police, who are being supported by the North West counter-terrorism unit. The involvement of counter-terrorism officers in the early stages of the investigation is a precaution, as detectives try to establish any motive behind the collision.​

Footage showed police cordons in place around the heavily littered road, with a large police presence, ambulances and a fire engine also at the scene.​

Far-right activist Tommy Robinson has been jailed for 18 months after admitting contempt of court by repeating false claims against a Syrian refugee.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, admitted 10 breaches of a High Court order made in 2021, during a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court.

Lawyers for the solicitor general accused the 41-year-old of "undermining" the rule of law.

Passing sentence, Judge Mr Justice Johnson said the breaches of the injunction, which prevented Yaxley-Lennon from repeating the allegations, were not “accidental, negligent or merely reckless” and the custodial threshold was "amply crossed”.
