[YES, I know this is about Canada]

In a recording of a conference call to franchisees, CEO John Betts rails against CBC stories

You really gotta like a guy with enough juevos to say it like it is! :eusa_clap:

Background; reports have circulated that Mickey D's is hiring foreign workers over Canadians, something to do with Canada's Temporary Foreign Workers Program. Anyhow, if you're interesting, the full story is @ McDonald's Canada CEO calls foreign worker controversy 'bullshit' - Canada - CBC News

And this says that Ottawa has suspended the program @ Temporary Foreign Worker Program for fast-food sector suspended by Ottawa - British Columbia - CBC News

What's more amazing is that the McDonald's Canada CEO was able to pull himself away from the hockey playoffs to address this issue.

Must have been between periods of the game.

Canada has a bizarre fetish about bringing in foreigners. Worse than the US actually, they advertise specifically to completely non-Western cultures. Really fucking oddball.
