A 31-year-old American woman won gold in the bicycle road race, and she's only been bicycling seriously since 2019-2020.

But this 1500 double medaling is awesome.

But the two best athletes--- second and fourth --- followed the the wrong race tactics and ran themselves out of a one - two finish .
You know 1500 results are odd when US runners figure in the shake-up, though Hocker has raised his form hugely over the last year .
