Here's a capitalism-ribbon involving a Monopoly game/discussion between Shiva (Hindu god of destruction) and the Xenomorph/Xeno (fictional alien-creature from Alien sci-fi film franchise).

Shiva represents governance while the Xeno represents deconstruction.

This capitalism-totem analysis was inspired by the capitalism 'system-sophistication' films Wall Street and Erin Brockovich.

Signing off (Happy New Year's!),

SHIVA: I like collecting the real estate 'groups.'
XENO: Yes, the Blue Group reigns supreme, but I like the Red Group.
SHIVA: Building houses and hotels on collected groups shows focus.
XENO: Monopoly is really about aggregate wealth.
SHIVA: It's a great real-estate imaginarium for Americans.
XENO: I prefer Monopoly to, say, Life or Risk.
SHIVA: Yes, I would argue Monopoly is as 'symbolic' as chess.
XENO: Capitalism is a system of teamwork, not governance.
SHIVA: That is certainly at least 50% true, since companies run markets.
XENO: Monopoly reminds me of Oliver Stone's Wall Street.
SHIVA: Americans are threatened by system-breakdown (e.g., 9/11).
XENO: Yes, that's why Americans like 'system-grammar games.'
SHIVA: Monopoly, Scrabble, and Clue are such games.
XENO: Such games ward off the demons of anti-social angst.
SHIVA: Capitalism is really about the suspension of anti-social angst!
XENO: Americans are fascinated by system-threats (e.g., Maniac Cop).
SHIVA: Monopoly should be played by Donald Trump and John Nash!
XENO: If there were no Monopoly, Americans would dream less about Manhattan.
