More evidence why the GOP is a dying party

you guys are desperate, but the GOP will survive just fine. Obama is the savior of the GOP.

Yes, that really is the good news of his reelection. Once the results of his liberalism hits the fan, there we ( GOP and Libertarians ) will be to "rescue" the victims of his administration. It's a cyclical thing. Can't wait to take some Senate seats in `14, and hope the Supremes stay healthy and on the bench, for a longer period of time.

Unless of course the economy continues to improve and the majority of the electorate gives the administration credit for it.

In this case, 2016 would be a tough road to hoe for the GOP, especially given its demographics issues.

there is no way that obama's economic ideas will inprove the economy, he is following the failed example of european socialism, never works, never will.

I would love it if the economy would turn around, but its hopeless with obozo and the dem fools like pelosi and reid running things.

It is a cyclical thing, and most countries do oscillate between centre left and centre right governments for at least every third term.

The problem for the GOP is that they are not really centre right anymore; thus it is very hard for them to appeal to normal, centrist people.

They real need to dump some of the old monolithic policies like climate change denial, pretending slashing taxes is the best solution in any situation and basing foreign policy on xenophobic contempt for other cultures, and start again with a clean slate.

The Labour Party did this in the UK when Blair made them New Labour and they dumped the boring old unionst rhetoric from the 1970's - the GOP can do the same.

the GOP does not deny climate change, what they deny is the proven wrong theory of man made climate change. Man is not doing it. Blame the sun if you want, but man has never had any impact on the planet's climate.

low taxes have proven to be a positive factor on the economy

it is not xenophobic to want to preserve AMERICAN culture.

Many European socialist countries are doing quite well and their economies, historically are much stronger than that of the US.

Next talking point....

which ones are doing quite well? Sweden and Norway don't count since they have a tiny population that is made up of a few large families that all have the same background and culture.

So countries that disprove your ridiculous talking point don't count...because they disprove your ridiculous talking point.

Actually the world's strongest economy is Switzerland, but I guess they don't count since Sweeden, Norway and Belgium also rank ahead of the US.

And THAT is why the GOP will never win another election.

Enjoy 1974, by the way.

The right wingers have been pounding on his liberalism for five years.

That's why he is a two term president.

BTW, don't hold your breath while you wait, lol.
