I have no real qualifications as in university degrees, or diplomas etc. but i speak 3 languages, and i looked for jobs where you need languages, some of them were like working for the CIA to translate serbian/bosnian/croatian, that would be a thing for me, but you need nearly in every job to be US citizen. Im not US citizen.

Why is a non-citizen in the country to begin with? Why would an American company want to hire non-American employees?

They do that all the time, i have a bosnian-serb friend who is a austrian citizen (grew up in austria) and who was hired by a american company in illinois, he now lives since over a decade in the US, maybe is even citizen now.

I've yet to meet anyone from the EU who DIDN'T speak 2-3 languages because if you drive an hour from home, you are in another country!

In the USA, I can drive 3000 miles and not leave the country, equal to driving from the coast of Portugal to the border of Ukraine/Russia, or from the Atlantic shores of Ireland to central Turkey.

That makes me shake my head. Plenty of good American citizens who need jobs.

True but very few people from the EU look to immigrate to the USA, so the competition from EU people is not big.

Odd as most of my father's generation CAME from Europe!
In the past most migration was from Europe, but i think that is different now, you think im wrong? Eventhough Trump did said america needs more swedes less haitans, i know he said it because he assumes they would be white, and im not white but a gypsy, but still the point is not many europeans want to move to the USA nowadays.

It seems most of Europe has swung more towards socialism since the creation of the "European union."
Or it is because their economic situation improved, before the USA was seen as richer, more free, more opportunities, where you can become from a dish washer to a millionaire, now everyone in europe is rich. For example the irish emigrated en masse because of famine for example. There is no such thing anymore. And in USA life might be even harder then in Europe.

Probably true. Living standards in Europe have risen while standards in the USA have probably fallen and Americans today are not as rich, as free, or have the opportunities they had as when I was a kid.

Why should they when the government is filling the country up with 3rd worlders willing to work for less money and willing to live less free?

Part of what Trump is fighting for to make America great again.

Don't give up your generous EU benefits in your host country to come over here and, well, work. Is this make-believe again or are you actually contemplating working for a living?

What does make-believe again and mean contemplating working mean? I dont understand that part.

It seems most people who are unfriendly and unwelcoming and hostile to me in this thread, are Republicans and Trumpsters. I wonder what liberals think of me? Does any liberal wants to comment, if there are any on this forum?

I bet he lives in Chicago or near it, lots of E. Europeans around there, especially from Poland, this area has the highest concentration of Poles of any place other than Warsaw.

I dont know, but he lives in USA, since 15-20 years he moved when he finished college, but he is a engineer, and was hired by a company, so he is valuable, im not a engineer and have no worth really for the US.
