They lost all credibility in their hypocrisy when they didn't fire her for the gay response she made on Twitter. She stated that her account was hacked (for the purposes of what? To send a tweet about gay issues?) and they apparently accepted it or just showed they are FOS.

NBC has been slashing budgets for awhile. They apparently decided to do away with Seth Myers band for instance to save some cash. With MSNBC reportedly being in the package they are trying to sell as a streaming block, I assume they are trying to make their salaries look less bloated than they have been.

The major networks have endless Prog politically dominated talk shows. Seeing someone disgruntled going into those broadcasts and exterminating them would be hilarious. They are networks for gosh sake. I watch nothing but football on them now. FOX needs to get rid of most of the Progs on their programs. What is the point?
