The best plain chocolate ice cream I've ever tasted was BLUE BUNNY HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE!

I'm not sure if they even make it any more.

Never heard of Blue Bunny but when I live in Texas for 6 months I used to get Blue Bell Ice Cream, I liked their coffee, vanilla bean, Dutch chocolate and mint chocolate chip. Also I used to get Dreyer's Ice Cream which was also great.

Since I joined this forum at random I have posted about how much I ADORE ice cream, I'm not a fan of ice cream with pieces of things in except I have ONE exception to this - see below - but I just ADORE ice cream. I do limit myself to perhaps eating ice cream twice a week, so I do have my addiction under control and do not eat ice cream every day, but I just LOVE ice cream.

I bought Mr. Lucy an ice cream making machine for his previous birthday, see how cute I am, I buy HIM a birthday present that HE can use to make me ice cream He's an excellent ice cream maker now, I would say he is literally approaching Professional Level.

Okay so my Top 5 Favourite Ice Cream Flavours are:

I. PEACH. OMG I ADORE peach ice cream, I love white peach ice cream and I love peach coloured peach ice cream. My love of peach ice cream is to the point IF I was asked to choose between peach ice cream OR the kidlets, well this would be the NIGHTMARE decision

II. CHOCOLATE CHIP. OMG I ADORE chocolate chip ice cream, I LOVE the vanilla one, I LOVE the chocolate one, I LOVE the mint one, chocolate chip ice cream has ALL the corners covered.

Jees, I think I just gained a pound reading this thread. I love all GOOD QUALITY ice cream, but I seem to have an affinity for coffee-- -- I love Kahlua -- --and though usually hard to find, I really delight in coffee-flavored ice cream and yogurt!

That's why I limit my ice cream to two times a week!

Coffee ice cream is beautiful. I could get some Kahlua and Mr. Lucy could make the ice cream in his machine. If you got an ice cream making machine then you also could make Kahlua ice cream.

Once while visiting home, we stopped in their ice cream parlor and ordered a chocolate volcano. It was so big we had to share it.

I do like Häagen-Dazs ice cream, their vanilla ice cream is just gorgeous, but I refuse to buy Häagen-Dazs in my opinion it is way over priced for such a small amount of ice cream. For example if I was giving the kidlets ice cream, this would be 4 of them as the other 2 have not started on ice cream yet, but one Häagen-Dazs would not be enough for 4, if we think I give each one a large scoop of the ice cream, I don't think in one Häagen-Dazs there is even enough ice cream for 4 large scoops.

So I remember the first time I got to Texas and this was me in Fort Worth and I think it was day two of me being there and I had to fill up the auto and so I went to a gas station. In there was a large refrigerator filled with only Blue Bell Ice Cream, I must have been standing there 10 minutes just looking at it all and I remember I bought the Dutch Chocolate Blue Bell Ice Cream, they must not have had the coffee one in or I would certainly have bought that one, so anyhow I got back to my friends house in Highland Park, Dallas County and I got a spoon and I had some of that Dutch Chocolate Blue Bell Ice Cream and I realised that yes Angels do live in human form and they create things like Blue Bell Ice Cream.
