The Biden administration has reached a landmark deal with states dependent on the Colorado River to conserve water amid the decades long drought.

The three Colorado River lower basin states -- California, Nevada and Arizona -- will be required to conserve an unprecedented 3 million-acre-feet of water through 2026.

The deal is voluntary among the three states and will prevent the need for federal intervention to mandate cuts. In other words, we can expect mandates.

Some idiot with a doctorate from some worthless university said that even though the west had a record breaking year in rain and snowpack that CA and AZ were not out of the drought caused by global warming and will never see full reservoirs again...
This was at a county board hearing... the very next speaker stepped up to the podium and did a slide show of all of the reservoirs in question and everyone of them were at near 100% capacity.....
These people with worthless degrees in so called science are not educated... they are propagandized and its fun to see one get his ass shown to him...
