I would favor solid logs treated with fire retardant for exterior walls, with metal siding. Maybe from the 'thinning's' of nearby forests.

Metal or tile roofs, metal studs, and fiber cement siding or cinder block. These are all viable options that would vastly improve residential fire safety.

Hollywood Hills is where the music business people live. Movie people left Hollywood a long time ago.

Hollywood Hills are now on fire, towards Hollywood Blvd., and so far I have heard it called the Sunset Fire.

The Eaton Fire and the Palisades Fire currently bracket either side of the famous Hollywood sign. So far this is not an urban fire, long line of fire trucks seen on the way.
