1. Would it there be any argument against hoping that civilization marches to a level higher than that of the jungle, where might makes right, and there are no limitations on behavior?
There were primitive societies prior to the three millennia since Moses, in 1313 BCE. That’s when God offered the contract, the Ten Commandments, acceptance of which sent mankind off to the races, producing the greatest culture ever known: Western Civilization.
2. But there are signs today that humanity is slipping back to the bad ol’ days….things like the worship of Gaia, Mother Earth…
Now, with the primacy of secularism, the anti-religion-religion, we are about to regress to the primitive views.
UNITED NATIONS — Bolivia will this month table a draft United Nations treaty giving “Mother Earth” the same rights as humans — having just passed a domestic law that does the same for bugs, trees and all other natural things in the South American country.
The bid aims to have the UN recognize the Earth as a living entity that humans have sought to “dominate and exploit” — to the point that the “well-being and existence of many beings” is now threatened…. It also establishes a Ministry of Mother Earth, and provides the planet with an ombudsman whose job is to hear nature's complaints as voiced by activist and other groups, including the state.UN document would give 'Mother Earth' same rights as humans
3. Government school, under the auspices of Liberals/Democrats, teaches the same thing.
“In our contemporary era, Earth Day has become the modern celebration of Gaia. Partakers of this event, whether aware of it or not, play off the ancient pagan beliefs of a Universal Mother. Like the sacred oaths taken in her name, today’s Earth Day celebrants sign environmental petitions, make pledges, and announce resolutions in support of Mother Earth. And like the old sacrifices to the deity, today’s Earth Day practitioners offer sacrifices of “good works” to the planet. Not only is the Earth a deity to be venerated, but the Earth itself – as the representative and embodiment of the Goddess – has become a modern day idol.” All For Gaia: Earth Day and Total Transformation for a Post-Christian World « Forcing Change
And our liberal friends actually voted for a man they called god, Obama, who selected regulatory czar Cass Sunstein who suggested that animals have the right to lawyers, and advocated that animals have the right to sue humans in court: “Animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives …”

4. And earth-worship isn’t the worst of the primitivization of society.
“Early infanticidal childrearing is a term used in the study of psychohistory that refers to infanticide in paleolithic,[1][2] pre-historical, and historical hunter-gatherer tribes or societies. "Early" means early in history or in the cultural development of a society, not to the age of the child. "Infanticidal" refers to the high incidence of infants killed when compared to modern nations.” Early infanticidal childrearing - Wikipedia
5. More from Leftists:
"Academics argue: Mothers should be allowed to kill their newborns, it’s morally the same as abortion
Killing newborn babies is morally the same as abortion, a publication in The British Medical Journal argued back in 2012.
And…it is a theme of the Democrat Party.
There was a reason why Go0d had Noah collect 2 of every animal when he flooded the world. He made us stewards of this earth and we have a responsibility to it and the animals who live in it. That means we need to clean up our act as much as possible. Yet you have no trouble with Trump allowing companies and other special interests to pollute our air and water and destroy animals. Trump has been a poor steward of this earth and you are right there with him.
Since the thread is clearly about the Democrat Party embracing death, rather than life....and you've attempted to ignore what you cannot dispute....
....I'll put you in the column of 'proving the thread'....M'kay?
