NYC braces for fewer cops, more trash as vax deadline looms

Amazing how short peoples memories are.

In 1981, Reagan fired 11,000 air traffic controllers. And actually barred them from being able to serve in government.

I've been waiting for a day like this to come. The mayor of NY, should issue an order giving them 24 hours to report to work.

If they don't, fire all of them, take their pensions, and bar them from ever having another job with the city or the state.

Many of them are leaving the state. Florida is giving a $5,000 signing bonus to any NY cop taking a job in Florida. None of the first responders will have a problem taking their tax paying asses elsewhere.

Indeed.... Fire all the LEO's and see what happens within the City of New York. This isn't a small town Podunk similar to where you live, this happens to be a City of more than 8 million people and the largest Police Force in America. Additionally De Blasio's order extends to the FDNY, Emergency Services, and Sanitation Dept.
Can he fire them all? Possibly. But doing so will destroy the city....

Mayor D has a problem with garbage as well

Trash piles up as vaccination deadline looms for NYC workers

Garbage has always been a problem. The average gestation period for rats is 21 days. New York will shortly become unlivable.

I thought all of the Anti-vaxxers where conservative Republicans in the South? Here we have Union Democrats from the Northeast not taking orders as do many a Blacks and Latinos.
