Funny how this never applies to making it easier for people to defend themselves.

Obama rejected that argument, urging supporters to tell opponents of renewed weapons ban that "there's no legislation to eliminate all guns; there's no legislation being proposed to subvert the Second Amendment."

Never mind that banning perhaps the best examples of weapons protcted by the 2nd does exactly that.

ALL of this legislation is designed to subvert the 2nd amendment. Hey! lets do the same thing to the 4th amendment so police have an easier time catching crooks. After all, if it saves even one life.....

Lots of things will save lives. A small matter like lowering the speed limit to 55 would save THOUSANDS OF LIVES EVERY YEAR like it did back in the 1970s. But liberals say hell with that.

obama only divides and conquers if it has a right bent to it. ie. He raises federal workers pay...mostly dems. Now wants to cut pay for the military who traditionally vote gop.
