If we "extend" the problem till we can develop alternate energy sources, what's wrong with that?

Well if the economy crumbles into shambles what good will developing alternatives do then?

Well, as people on this board would have us believe drilling here will not lower the price on bit, I think we can be pretty sure drilling here will not take away the immediate need for alternative energy. While still ending or lowering the flow of money from the US to other countries, and lowering our trade deficit a bit.

A win win if you ask me.
