In my world sir, stupid questions suggest that the man asking the question is either grossly uninformed by accident, or in denial of facts.

I'll assume the former in this case. They (along with their US traitors in the White House and elsewhere) assumed the boat would be sunk and so the Egyptians would be blamed. The boat didn't sink for whatever reason, and the cover-up commenced.

I've also made small donations to JVP and B'Tselem etc over the decades as I feel that Israel's right wing Zionist elements are a far greater danger to Israel's long term well being than any outside threat.
