I say, put up a 3 foot chain link fence the entire length of the border with keep out signs every 100 meters and a 50 meter deep mine field, covered by armed drones. If they make through the minefield and past the armed drones, fine. It would be cheaper and more effective than some tall wall only requiring a rope, a rock and the ability to tie a not to defeat.
