Do you think the gov't has a right to say what a private business does concerning who they serve . Such as bakery not making cakes for someone who offends their beliefs. Or if they chose to be closed on the sabeth

Which sabbath? Some religions disagree about which arbitrarily selected day of the week it is.
What a stupid ass question,
Hey, don't be so insensitive. Religious folk take their fairy tales very seriously.

I understand sensible safety and employee codes and regulations but when it comes to how a company treats their customers the federal government should stay out of it....If the company fails because they exclude too big of a customer demographic that is up to them not DC....

I think it depends on how "custom" your product is and what options the buyer has for a competing product. At one extreme your selling a standard product to the public (e.g. gasoline) and the buyer can't easily find an alternative (e.g. there isn't another station near). At the other extreme you're providing a custom service (e.g. semiconductor patent defense legal services) and the buyer can easily find another such service. A $10K wedding cake which requires on-site delivery and attention is different from a $20 cake from WalMart with no offensive wording.

The buyer has a right to buy standard products. The seller has a right to control their own time. These rights must be balanced. The seller shouldn't be required to attend a gay wedding or create a custom cake that is high art. . The seller should be required to sell a standard cake to anyone who wants to buy it. Deciding what is "custom" and what is "standard" gets tricky.

Government has no role in business.
People can decide to buy or not buy from a company.
People can decide to work or not work for a company.
