Countries like Brazil or Colombia are not poor in reality. At least compared to really poor countries. For our standards they are poor. Of this little wealth, the wealthy own everything and the poor nothing. This is also expressed by the conditions many live under in South America:

This is not an indicator for actual wealth. Germany for example suffers a very unequal distribution of wealth. Few fucks own everything and the rest nothing. But that nothing is still way more than what "wealthy" people in some other countries have.
