We must not judge the Figurehead.

First, his "advisers" foisted those nominees on him.

Second, he, of course, has no idea of who they are.

Third, in today's America, it is appearance that counts, not competence. So -- of course -- the Cabinet must be balanced with all ethnicities, genders, and sexualities. Of course, in many cases, the Secretary of X department is also a figurehead, like the one in the White House. The actual policies are decided by unknown Swamp members.
