Rates of Hothouse Gas Accumulation Continue to Spike as the Amazon Rainforest Bleeds Carbon

The temperature spiking as it has done in the face of a La Nina is the evidence on which the contention is made Frank.

Catalytic converters are not damaged by regular gas. They were damaged by leaded gas when it was available. Tetra-ethyl lead (TEL) was phased out beginning in 1975 and by 1995 was virtually non-existent. TEL had no effect on the ozone layer. It led to cumulative neurotoxicity and, as noted, destroyed catayltic convertors. Ozone is damaged by the release of chlorinated fluorocarbons (Freon, et al) used in air conditioning and refrigeration units.
That's what I meant.

The rest of the world seems to be getting greener thanks to carbon dioxide:

"The most comprehensive modelling of remote sensing data so far shows the area on Earth covered by plants in this time has increased by 18 million square kilometres — about 2.5 times the size of the Australian continent — largely due to the fertilising effect of carbon dioxide (CO2)."

Seems even some desert areas are becoming green again.

Sounds like an observation that you're assuming is "evidence"

Where the lab work controlling for all variables save for a 120PPM increase CO2?

The earth has two means of determining how warm the surface is. The first is the amount of energy it receives from the sun, the second is how much of that energy is retained. On the first, there has been a minor decrease over the last couple of decades in the energy received from the sun. On the second, the albedo and the amount of GHGs in the atmosphere determine that. Decrease the albedo, and the amount of energy absorbed increases. With the melting of the polar ice, and recession of the alpine glaciers, the albedo is steadily decreasing. This is caused by the warming created by the increase in the GHGs in the atmosphere.

So, in the face of a minor decrease in the energy received from the sun, we have seen a major increase in the heat retained by the atmosphere and surface of the earth. Enough to give us three record years in a row, and now a year in which both the Anarctic Sea Ice, and the Arctic Sea Ice are more than three standard deviations below normal. In fact, we even just saw a minor meltback in the Arctic Sea Ice in the darkness of the Polar Winter.,

You know, you silly dumb fuck, does it make a bit of difference whether liberals or conservatives say anything on issues like that? It is what it is. Things are getting a bit greener, and much warmer. The sea is rising and acidifying. The sea ice is at a low at a time of year that is nothing like we have ever seen before. And none of this cares even a little as to what you or I think of it. It simply is, a response to the physics and chemistry of the situation.

Well by golly, then why are so many liberals always talking abut then?

Maybe the aldebo is INCREASING as a result of soot from China and India and that's what's causing the imaginary melting

I doubt that.

Entirely possible. Now all you have to do is somehow use that increase green to stave off coastal flooding, droughts and flooding inland, water shortages and crop failures.

Why? Is it really a surprise that the sea level is rising? It's been rising for over 20,000 years.

Ah, now Ding, we see you for what you are, just another 'Conservative' engage in lying to make a false point. You know damned well the seal level has been pretty stable for the last 2000 years.
2000 Years of Sea Level (+updates)

Sea level evolution in North Carolina from proxy data (blue curve with uncertainty range). Local land subsidence is already removed. The green curve shows measurements from a nearby tide gauge a reconstruction based on tide gauges from around the world (Jevrejeva et al. 2006, 2008). The red curve shows results from a simple model connecting global temperature with sea level. For the last millennium the sea level curve follows what can be expected from temperature – the two independent reconstructions thus mutually reinforce each other by their consistency. Before 1000 AD there is a discrepancy: warm temperatures in the reconstruction used would lead to rising sea level, but the sea level reconstruction is flat. However, temperature data from before 1000 AD are sparse and less reliable, and lowering temperatures in this period by only 0.2ºC removes the discrepancy. Thus, a possible explanation for the discrepancy is that the temperature reconstruction is a little too warm before 1000 AD.

So what? This is exactly what happens in an interglacial cycle. How many times do I need to tell you that? It has been rising at 3 mm/yr for the last 6000 years.

Show us data supporting that statement Ding. You're claiming the world's oceans have risen 18 meters (just shy of 60 feet) over that period.

This doesn't

Neither does this

Are you thinking we were in an "icehouse world" 6,000 years ago?

As was just pointed out, sea level has been quite stable for the last 6,000 years.
