So this was the latest apology. From the same police agency that is costing Canadian taxpayers North of $200M to settle with these women, they also have a lawsuit coming from male officers of the force.
These crocodile tears have little value when you consider that in 2013 this same incompetent Bob Paulson aggressively humiliated the lawsuit and the woman at the center of it, Janet Merlo. Basically suggesting she was incompetent etc, the standard character assassinations.
Not one of the superior officers was fired or reprimanded. Many of them are going to retire handsomely while they have ruined so many lives within their own force. We have seen a similar result with the OPP in Ontario and CSIS, but it is becoming rampant, the lack of accountability bankrupting jurisdictions and harming our National Interests.
