Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) offered an apology to the world following a tense dustup between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on Friday.

In their exchange in front of cameras, Trump and Vice President JD Vance told Zelensky to be more grateful for the aid he’s received as his country continues to fight off a Russian invasion. Trump told Zelensky to change his “attitude” and that he’s “gambling with World War III” as he claimed Zelensky needed to do more to negotiate a ceasefire deal.

Crockett took to X to slam Trump as a “dumb dupe” while praising “brave” Zelensky for leading his country in a time of war. The congresswoman called Trump and Vance “bullies” in her apology.

“It’s been a long day… but in short, bullies ain’t shit! I don’t care what title you hold! This isn’t some long gone reality tv show or failed casino….this is war!” she wrote. “How dare a draft dodging dumb dupe humiliate an ally and berate an actual brave man who has actually been on a battlefield for his people?!”

Crockett apologized the foreign countries for the United States’ “bright light” dimming.

“Let me say this to the WORLD, I am sorry that the bright light America used to be is dimming,” she wrote.

There was no reset with Russian under the Obama Administration. There was an attempt to reach out to Russian, to prevent aggression, but Putin was having none of it, and continued to annex territory and install puppet governments, and sanctions were levied as a result.

Trump promised Putin to lift sanctions after the 2016 election (see Flynn prosecution), and Congress unanimously passed a law - in both Houses, requiring the permissions of Congress before any sanctions against Russia can be lifted, the moment Trump took office.
Now, Trump is tearing up every strategic alliance that has kept Europe at peace since 1945, and telling Putin to do whatever he wants.

Stop trying to blame anyone but Trump for what is currently transpiring. And stop spouting Putin's bullshit. Trump used his "perfect phone call" to deliberately hold up Congressional approved military aid for more than 7 months, and putting the appropriation in danger of expiring, so that too, was a HUGE help to Putin.

Musk cancelled Ukrainian access to Starlink so the Ukrainians couldn't attack Russian ships with drones.

Trump is no longer providing satellite data to Ukrainians to help them counter drone attacks.

With friends like this, Zelensky doesn't need enemies.

Elon Musk on Thursday acknowledged turning off internet access from his Starlink satellites during a Ukrainian raid last year on a Russian naval fleet, saying he did so to prevent SpaceX from being “complicit in a major act of war and conflict escalation.”

Musk responded on his social media platform X to new details from an upcoming book that indicated he ordered his engineers to shut off communications network before the attack off the Crimean coast.

“There was an emergency request from government authorities to activate Starlink all the way to Sevastopol,” Musk wrote on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.

“The obvious intent being to sink most of the Russian fleet at anchor. If I had agreed to their request, then SpaceX would be explicitly complicit in a major act of war and conflict escalation,” Musk wrote.
