Replace sequester/extend ceiling

Replace sequester/extend ceiling with a focused bill on the real problems.
1. Entitlements. CUT welfare, food stamps back to 2008.
2. Strengthen jobs requirement(reform).
3. Cut military to $600 billion mostly by closing over sea's bases and bringing troops home.
4. Increase taxes (based on laugher curve) to maximize revenue. EQUAL percentage for all.
5. Raise minimum ssi retirement age to 72.

This way the American people could still enjoy being within a first world country. As they'd have infrastructure, science and tech...This really isn't the reason behind the debt like the areas above. The above point directly fixes our debt problems...

I'd raise the debt limit for 2 months so we don't cross it. These reforms should stop the debt from going up and protect our leadership in the world.

Glad you threw in the science, tech, and infrastructire meme, Mr. Democrat. I was worried you might have one post here without that crap.

If we close our overseas bases what do you suppose that would do for terrorism worldwide?
Taxes are already above what "laugher" predicted the optimum would be.
What are you going to do with all those people who are 60 and eligible to start receiving benefits? You realize Bush tried reforming SS and the Dems derailed it, right?

Why not raise SSI minimum age to 85....

Think of all that money government could get it's hands on because they would not have to pay any of it out.
